SUPER WOOFER
Kenwood’s flagship subwoofer KFC-WPS1D delivers you a peak power output of 3000W. Its durability is assured every during long hours of high-output operation as the speaker unit is designed to dissipate heat effectively away from the motor. The die-cast aluminium basket will improve power-handling characteristics, and four vents are positioned around the basket to ensure that the entire subwoofer is properly cooled.

 

CARBON-GLASS FIBRE CONE
Kenwood’s newly adopted carbon glass fibre material, combines strong glass fibres with the existent carbon cones. Bass reproduction is further enhanced by an increase in the cone area.

SUPER LINEAR SPIDER
The new spider’s roll gradually becomes higher towards its centre, meaning the centre area is able to move more without getting stretched. The aim is to transfer up-down movement towards the outside gradually, before the centre gets stretched. The outside has more surface area to take the stress than the centre, so mechanical damage during large excursion decreases, leading to a subwoofer that is tough against power.
