DPX504U 2-DIN CD-RECEIVER
Kenwood’s DPX504U makes full use of cars which have double-DIN size radios. A large 4-line display gives excellent information in conjunction with its front iPod Direct USB input. A front AUX input is also available for quick connection to portable music players and navigation units. This can be used with the Dual Zone feature to playback only to the rear speakers for example. For hands-free mobile phone use an optional KDC-BT300 interface is available.

Large easy to understand operation keys and controls knobs make this unit a breeze to use even with the most complicated operations.

This unit has full compatibility with MP3/WMA and Apples AAC files for multiple music storage on recordable CD-R’s. A powerful 50w x 4 built-in amplifier will transform your cars entertainment sound. A front USB connection for your iPod/iPhone and also an AUX input for quick connection to portable music players and navigation units.

Variable Illumination - DPX504U/404U
Want to match the units illumination with your cars interior display? Well you can with the Variable Colour Illumination feature. It not only offers 24-colour presets, but also has the ability to adjust each RGB (Red/Green/Blue) value in 10 steps to create up to 1000 original colours.

  

 

Front USB/iPod/iPhone & AUX Inputs - DPX504/404U
The AUX input can be used for connection of a digital audio player. The USB can be used to input USB memory, attach a USB compatible digital audio player or, for iPod/iPhone users attach your white Apple USB lead (Or optional KCA-iP102 lead) for direct connection.

These terminals are on the front of the unit and have a sliding cover to avoid dust and ensure more secure connections. They are illuminated for ease of connection at night.

Also included is Kenwood's Music Editor Lite software which allows you to readily create a music file database for your USB device.

iPod/iPhone Friendly Functions - DPX504/404U
Simply press the SEARCH MODE key and enter the Search Model allowing you to access a variety of modes. With direct search, simply enter the first three letters of the playlist, artist, album, song, podcast, genre or composer and by turning the knob right/left, get a list of songs. It is also possible to search using Alphabet Search, Skip Search and Related Search functions. iPod Control by Hand-Mode is also available, with this function the user can choose to control from the iPod/iPhone itself rather than from the unit. *Do not operate iPod/iPhone while driving.

  

2 Speed Search - DPX504U Only

When the knob is turned fast while browsing your song list on an iPod/iPhone, it will automatically switch to the Alphabet Search. This feature allows you to search through the music tracks faster than ever.

 

 

 

Log Function - DPX504U Only
To make operation fast and friendly, a recent history of previously tuned radio stations, phone numbers called, songs selected, and/or functions used can be quickly accessed by pressing the Log Key. Up to 15 logs are cached, which can be stored permanently via the Lock function that can be called up at any time.
