This high-end Kenwood multimedia unit comes with 5.1 surround sound output for the ultimate in-car sound experience. Touch screen control, for operation of built-in Parrot Bluetooth, DVD/CD playback. For iPod/iPhone users connecting your player to the USB input allows full touch screen searching and a function similar to iPod’s coverflow. Video files can be separately displayed on rear screens for family entertainment on the move.

3D GUI Skin Change
The DDX8026BT features a visually appealing animated 3D GUI with variable colour key illumination that includes 29,790 colours in order to match your vehicle dashboard illumination. Users can select their choice of skins from three different patterns - Aurora, Fire and Metal - while easily selecting and dragging the three most frequently used media sources (e.g. Navi, Disc, Tel, USB, iPod etc) and concealing the others.

  

Touch Sensor

Kenwood's new Touch Sensor system has been implemented in replacement of the hard keys for not only a sleeker smoother look but also for easier control.

 

Removable Faceplate
For added security Removable Faceplate is now possible on DDX8026BT while still being able to maintain Reverse Tilt capabilities in order to better deal with sun glare.

  

High Resolution VGA Display

Thanks to the Wide VGA high-resolution display, the keys, icons and DVD images appear much clearer and sharper.

 

5.1CH DSP
While pursuing improvement of fundamental audio quality through application of the Digital Direct concept, Kenwood also recognises how Dolby Digital, dts and other multichannel formats transform the vehicle environment into a sensual sound stage with the power of surround audio. And with Dolby Pre Logic II compatiblity, even 2ch signals from CDs, iPods and any other 2ch sources can be converted into 5.1ch signals to simulate surround sound.

 

 

  

 

Built-in Bluetooth Hands-free
The DDX8026BT comes equipped with built-in Bluetooth capability to enable hands-free mobile phone operation so you can keep your hands on the steering wheel where they belong and concentrate on the road ahead.

In addition, you can play music files stored in A2DP-compatible devices such as *mobile phones to bring a wireless world of seamless entertainment into your car. *Depends on phones capabilities.

  

 

USB/iPod/iPhone
The DDX8026BT is iPod/iPhone friendly and this means that searching for music or a movie title is straightforward via the touch panel. In addition to conventional searches for playlists, artists, albums and genres, additional search commands can also be performed for music videos, TV shows, movies, video playlists, etc. A function similar to iPod’s Cover Flow is now featured which allows users to flick through and browse for music albums, video titles, photographs, etc. on connected media. SD Playback
Play music files (AAC/WMA/MP3/WAV), movie files (MPEG1,2,4/H.264/WMV), and photo files (JPEG) stored on SD cards with the SD Function features in the DDX8026BT. On your next trip, snap a photo with your digital camera, insert the SD Card in the slot and share the moment with everyone in the vehicle on the headunit display or on an optional rear monitor.
